Don't Let Up
Any solutions designed by the moderation team (such as, for instance, intensified training, increased communications, etc.) must be reinforced for several months after the new interface has been implemented. Otherwise, members could quickly become frustrated. In order to ensure that the team does not "let up" Dr. Wildermuth could:
- Invite moderators to act as "change champions" for limited periods of time. These "champions" would be responsible for raising discussions or communicating with members during the months following the change process.
- Invite a few "vendors" to join the moderation team - and ask these vendors to contribute to a trust building initiative that will bring together the "vendor" and the "internal" HR groups.
