Many of the members may be uncomfortable with the proposed change. In order to help people overcome their discomfort with the new interface, Dr. Wildermuth might:
- Increase the dialog about the proposed changes with the group members. She can start discussion topics, write blogs, and invite others to explain the changes to group members.
- Design a presentation to explain the changes to members (or ask knowledgeable members to prepare such a presentation).
- Invite John Smith to participate in the discussion. Since Linked:HR is a very large group, John Smith might be willing to "make his case" to the group personally.
- Invite members who have concerns to write her directly.
